You get what you pay for! : Boss 865DBI In-Dash DD MP3-CD-AM-FM Receiver
Bought the item in May 2010. Online the device appeared more substantial! Upon arrival it was very cheap and fragile. You get what you pay for? Plan was to install myself, but at the last minute I opted for a professional install. About a week later, the CD inlet slot above the display popped off. I went online to Boss.com customer service and inquired about getting a replacement slot and was given a number to call. The rep I called instructed me to again go online to a specific address and email an individual who could solve my problem. 2months pass!!! And I'm finally contacted about the radio! This poor excuse for a Technical Service Manager finally tells me I will have to replace the entire radio, and he will get back to me? I am now unable to reach him and Boss is not responding to my emails? That sums up my first and last dealings with BOSS...Never again! The radio itself is not intuitive at all! The dials feel cheap and basic functions require multiple switch or button inputs? Stay away from it! If there was a rating less than 1 star, I'd rate the customer service at that level!
